Jadala Ramesh was born on June 4, 1970 in Siricilla in the Karimnagar district of the state of Andhra Pradesh. He is the First son in a family of two sons and one daughter. His father Jadal Rajaveeru .
Interested in music from early on, Ramesh pursued it with passion. Even during his school days as an student, Ramesh regularly participated in singing competitions. In 1998, Ramesh won the first prize in a music competition for Cultural organised by the vemulavada-based Telugu Cultural Organisation, and earned his first opportunity from ciricilla music director. From then on, ramesh has carried on with undiminished enthusiasm not only as a singer but also as mimicry artist, dubbing artist, music director and producer, delighting his fans in all his avatars.
Ramesh has sung over 8,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Tulu, Oriya, Assamese, Badaga, Sanskrit, Konkini, Bengali, Marathi, and Punjabi. He holds the record for the most number of songs rendered by a playback singer. Much loved by everyone in the film industry, Ramesh is highly regarded by musicians and composers for his versatility and virtuosity.
